Print in black and white

Question

My printer does not allow the option of printing in black and white. Please help. Thanks, Rudy

THIS IS IF U HAVE AN ALL IN ONE PRINTER:

go the printer name in start ->control panel ->printers and other hardware ->view printers and faxes.

right clik on printer name
go to preferences.
window comes about printing preferences - Print Setup.

there is an option which says print in black and white, make sure that box is checked.
apply those settings and then try printing something.

I HAVE A DELL PHOTO 964 ALL IN ONE     I got to Print Setup and saw the Box 'Print in black and white' BUT it was all 'grayed out' not enabling me to Check the Box.   THANKS!!!!   BucsPete :)

I STILL CANT GET THAT 'GRAYED OUT' PRINT IN BLACK AND WHITE BUTTON TO COME TO THE POINT THAT I CAN CHECK THE BOX.   AGAIN, I HAVE A DELL PHOTO 964 AIO.     PLEASE HELP!   BUCSPETE

control panel
printers and faxes

964 is listed
right clik- printing preferences -

top right corner has a "profiles"

clik on restore a profile - select the one which says factory defaults -
the print in black and white option will come up again for to check/uncheck it
