Printer 1320c is not printing

Question

I have laser printer 1320c connected to Apple computer with OS 10.6.  It was working fine until recently!  At some point the orange light was flashing, I cleaned the CTD sensor,  now it is not flashing but still not print any pictures from the web or hard drive!  As for any other file from the web, some of them if it is just text only prints the first page!  I did reset it as it was indicated as a reply to one of the questions but not much use!  Any help would be appreciated.  thanks.

Hi Schyusa,

You may uninstall and reinstall the printer drives. Please follow the steps below:

Go to ‘System Preferences’
Go to ‘Print & Scan’
To uninstall click the minus '-' at the bottom of the list

You may reinstall the driver from the link: http://dell.to/143zu9M. please follow the instructions given below:

Control Click ‘Download Now’, and select ‘Download Linked File As…’ to download the file.
When the File Download window appears, click ‘Save’ to download this file to the Desktop.
If the Download window appears, close the window once the download is complete.
Double-click the new icon on the desktop.
The Self-Extracting window appears and a new drive will appear on your desktop.
Open the drive and double-click the installation package.
Follow the on-screen installation instructions.

After control clicking the Download File, and saving to the desktop using "save linked file as". Then double clicking the icon on the desktop opens a window"dell-1320c.htm is a web application downloaded from the Internet. Are you sure you want to open it?" When I click open, the 'Driver Details' page opens!

Hi Schyusa,

You may go to the folder /Library/Printers then remove all the files from the folder and then paste the drivers file which you have downloaded in the same folder.

Where is the CTD sensor on this machine?  I could not find it.  I can't print anything to the printer after I cleared the flashing error light.

I cannot find the CTD sensor on our 1320c Dell printer.  We had the same problem and I turned off the printer and held down the green button and holding down the green button, turned the printer back on.  I have plugged, unplugged, plugged again, shut down my computer and restarted the computer, but now the orange light is off and nothing will print to my printer.  Anyone have any suggestions?  This is incredibly frustrating.  The ink is new and there are no paper jams.  I have also deleted and reinstalled the printer but I cannot print anything.
