Printer driver Dell AIO 966 for Windows 7 64bit does not work

I tried to install the Dell AIO 966 drivers for VISTA 64 bit (following the instructions on the Dell website), and everything works fine (scanning, etc) except printing from my Windows 7 64bit system. My PC does not recognize the AIO 966 as a printer, and does not find a suitable printer driver in the folder R165704. Can somebody please help me with this. I don't have a clue what I can do, since according to the instructions on the DELL support site, this should work perfectly.
