reinstall AIO 924
I've been trying to reinstall my 924 for about a month now...nothing seems to work. Previous request for help on this forum only left me more confused as the directions given couldn't be followed.

When I click that single button, I get to a point where I'm I'm an installation box, but when I click "personal installation" nothing happens.
I'm using Windows XP. Honestly, I'm not stupid, I just need clear directions on what to do or where to get the drivers from or something I can follow. Calling tech support on a printer with an expired warranty is $60 and frankly, I can buy a new printer from HP for that much money. But I like my 924. However, I'm getting frustrated trying to do this.
Would appreciate any help.

Push the button download in my browser. then push the button again. Dell just upgraded the drivers and downloads page and sometimes you have to push the download button twice.

I'm never given an option to use the Dell Download manager. You can't push the button twice from the My Accounts page where my printer is listed because it starts installing on the first time. I go to My Account - My Products list - drivers and downloads - Drivers Home and I'm shown my printer (924) and a download button. There's a link for my printer and I click on that and it takes me to Driver Details for the 924. I click on the download button and save it to my desktop as the directions state. I unzip the files and save them. The installation box comes up but it doesn't install.
If I'm supposed to download this stuff from another place please put in a link or specific directions on where to find it.

bree_zee,
XP Drivers for the Dell 924 Printer.
Download file, unless you have the printer disk.
Save to desktop.
Double click on the file.
