T-shirt transfers

I am trying to decide on a color laser printer and am looking at the 3100cn. What I need to know is if this printer can use the transfer paper as seen here http://www.qlt.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Category_Code=500 They say they don't list compatibility or not compatible for Dell printers and would need to know more specs to determine compatibilty. If no one has experience here is, there someone I can get more info from, such as what this printer is comparable to in another make? A contact that I can get some tech spec from that I can give QLT to determine compatibility?

I dont think the printer is compatible with any transfer paper of any type. The fuser is a rather primitive one and can't adjust the amoutn of heat it puts out, only the speed through which it passes paper. you *might* be able to get away with one of the various paper type settings in the MPF tray, but i dont think any are going to be "cool" enough

I've used commercial paper in this without an issue.
I use paper from Airwaves Inc (airwavesinc.com) just fine.

I print on "coated 2".

You can only apply them with a commercial heat press however.
They work great for me, I've made over 200 shirts.

Good luck.
