usbscan.sys

I have a multifunction Canon printer hooked up to my Dimension 4600, and when I have attempted to Scan I get a message telling me I need usbscan.sys file.  I don't have this file, but have gleaned that it was omitted at the time the software was loaded to my pc.  Does anyone know how I can get this file so I can scan with my printer?

Check in explore>windows>system32>drivers
 
If its ther you probably need to insstall the driver.if not yopu mightr need your CD to accomplish this by copying it to  windows\system32\drivers directory.
