V515 Printer ezprint.exe error displays on shutdown

I have the V515 wifi printer and almost all the time when shutting down the computer I get a error type message on screen that ezprint.exe failed to shut down.

Any ideas what causes this, and a fix if someone else had seen this problem with this printer.

ron351,

It's just the printer trying to shutdown. This is normal. I have the program shutdown, with the Dell V715w Wireless printer, also.

It's Dell Printer Home shutting down. You can speed it up by clicking end

Thanks for the reply Rick. I have owned several printers over the years and have never had this message pop up as with the dell printer.

They ought to make it shut down in the background so it don't display this message box we have to click on all the time.

Maybe I will see if I can disable it on startup as I don't print very often.

Thanks again,

Ron

Ron,

I use Ultimate Windows Tweaker for Windows 7 & Vista . I moved the slider half way and have it shut down and force the windows to close.

I also am getting this error with the P513w wireless printer.  The thing is, of my 5 computers on the home network, my Dell Latitude D810 is the only computer that has this issue.  It started right after installing the printer on this computer.  Was a hassel.

Mine don't do it any more. I think I went into system and disabled it on startup. Have not seen it since.
