V515w no connection by wireless or USB, orange light

I am new to this forum so bare with me. I have a Dell printer V515w that was stored away for few years and I'm bringing it out to use. I am unable to connect to the PC by the USB cord or set up wireless connection. I get through installation to the spot where it's to run but the Continue button does not light up. I am feeling technically challenged and I cannot receive help from Dell Support since my warranty is expired. Can anyone help me find out why printer is not connecting at all?

Rmurray01,

First run Delete Print Jobs to remove stuck print job(s) from the queue, then restart your computer.

Make sure the printer is not usb cable connected.

Start, control panel, programs and features, your pritner, uninstall.

Restart your computer. Make sure the printer was removed. Manual Printer Driver Removal

On the printer, click on the wrench. Look for reset the wireless adapter to factory settings and reset the wireless adapter.

Download the Vista 32-bit drivers for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 32-bit or download the 64-bit drivers for Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 64-bit and save them to your desktop. Download the drivers from...

Dell V515w Wireless All In One Printer - (RED) owners thread

Install the drivers in the Vista SP2 Compatibility mode choose network, new installation and follow the instructions. (Hint: It's helpful if your wireless router is using these Recommended Wireless Router Settings I use channel 11.)

The printer must be able to copy without a computer attached or the ink cartridges may need replaced.

Remember virus programs and firewalls will block communications.

If you have the printer disk, you'll need this to install the OCR Program, needed to scan documents and faxing.
