V515W Paper Jam - Two 4x6 stuck in printer

two pieces of 4x6 photo paper stuck in V515w printer.  Dell owners manual no help.  No paper jam instructions found at dellsupport.com.  Anyone know best way to open up the body of printer to pull the stuck paper out of the printer?

Thanks,

JT

chopstick, tweezer, flashlight, needlenose and a little luck.  Thx. Dell.  Easy product to maintain even when dealing with something as odd and un-natural like a paper jam.  Good thing those never happen in the real world.

JETnTEX,

I was going to ask if your printer had a duplexer. If so, in the back, you can press the two buttons and take out the unit to clear the jam.

Sorry, I was too late.

I am having this same problem. Tried to print 2 sets of AVery 5148 labels (size 4x6). They got stuck in the printer. I was able to get one of them from the top feeder with a long pair of tweezers. I don't even see the other sheet, but know it's down there b/c a regular sheet of paper won't feed down it.

HELP!

thanks,

Tim

I can see the edge of the label by looking into the paper feeder, but am not able to grasp it with anything.  Tried shaking the printer to see if it would work its way out some. No success.

Tim,

Does the little screen show you how to clear the jam?

Does your printer have a duplexer? If so, around the back of the printer, there should be two tabs to press and try to open the back of the printer.

JT, did you ever resolve your paper jam problem???      How?    I am trying to take our V515w printer apart to get at the innards.
