Lou Berman,

I am checking with a friend that can provide some more details about this printer. I see the tech specs state that it works on the

Hi-Speed USB, IEEE 802.11b, IEEE 802.11g, IEEE 802.11n connections but really would like to give you more detailed information before I can say for sure. Checking the details about the wireless adapter card in this printer.

Lou Berman,

I would think that the wireless adapter is similar to the wireless adapter in my Dell V715w Wireless Printer, which is a b/g wireless adapter. I think the wireless n information is an error and have sources checking into this. Sorry for the confusion. I do see that Dell Canada's Website calls the a Dell V313wn and it should be call Dell V313w

It will work on a wireles b/g network and connect with no problems. I use these Recommended Wireless Router Settings, I use channel 11, and have no problems connecting with my Dell wireless printer.

If you have any more questions, feel free to ask and I'll try to provide any information that I can.

Thank you for bringing this to the Dell Forums and the pages should be corrected with the proper information.

Rick,

Thanks for the info, I got the system today. The Salesman didn't even know what the "n" was for, so now i'm the proud owner of a V313w with an "n".

Thanks

Lou,

I have a Dell V715w wireless printer, w=wireless. I was discussing this with a friend and not quite sure it Dell started putting wireless n adapters in the printers or if they are really wireless b/g adapters. We are trying to determine this but I don't have a wireless N router, so my friend is going to try and see if they can connect. The printer will definately connect to the network using these Recommended Wireless Router Settings, I use channel 11. With your computer online, insert the printer disk. It should prompt you for updates. Get the updates, this helps to install the printer on all operating systems, even Windows 7. It will prompt you with instructions when to attach the printer, help you find your network, then help connect to your network. Had a small issue with a Belkin, wireless N router not being able to recognize the WPA-PSK(TKIP) Security(Personal) security and WPA-AES.

If you need help, feel free to ask.
