Missing UNCDMS.DLL means that Windows Desktop search file is missing from your computer or it is not detecting while boot up . In windows XP you have to install Windows Desktop Search 3.01 but in Windows 7 Windows Search is built into the system . U have to enable the option not Disable it .
Go to Control panel ->Programs and Features . Then check windows Search option and Reboot the computer. It should work fine .
Please respond if it worked and please let me know if you need any other help. If that doesnot work try

It is apparently loading (or trying to load) that file at start up. Turning off the search function won't make a difference.
If all the google search hits do not work you can try the Microsoft Fixit
