Cursor disappears when typing

Question

I am having this issue with all my Dell products.  I have a Latitude, and Inspiron and also an XPS tablet.  It happens when typing directly on the laptop or when using a Dell USB keyboard.  The cursor disappeared 4 times while typing the above 3 sentences.  Any ideas??

Hi DELL-Janis,

I suggest that you update the touch pad driver, click on the link given below and enter the service tag:

Select the Operating system from the drop down list and click ‘Input’ and update the driver and restart the system and check.

I also suggest that you check the mouse properties. To go to mouse properties Window, click ‘Start’ and type mouse in the search box. Next, click on mouse folder to open the mouse properties window. Navigate to ‘Pointer Options’ tab and then uncheck ‘Hide pointer while typing’. Click Apply and close the window and check the cursor behavior. Reply with the status.
