DBAR: Can't copy data on Dell Inspiron 3847

I recently upgraded from Win 8.1 to 10. After doing so I updated Dell Backup and recovery to the newest 1.9 version. On my first run of DBAR I archived my old backups then made a new factory media backup and system backup and both worked successfully. Prior to the upgrades I was running Dell DBAR version 1.8.1.70

However it will not backup my data as it did before. It stalls for a very long time after it first checks system etc and eventually gives me a couldn't complete due to and error but doesn't say what the error is. I am backing up everything to a Toshiba 1TB external HD. As I indicated the archiving and factory image or media and system backups worked perfectly on first run but it will not backup the data to the same external HD. Backing up data on the same external HD worked flawlessly before upgrading to Win 10 and updating DBAR to the newest version.

I even used a new 32GB USB flashdrive and attempted to backup the data to it and again it initially started to work and then hung for about and hour on backup and eventually gave me message that and error occurred.

Has anyone ran into this problem and I have lots of important data to backup and hate having to use some other manual type of operation to do so.
