Dell Backup and Recovery issue

I always get a message to update my media when I do put my flash drive in and gets to the 2nd step and I get Error message is there anyway to fix this or should I uninstall it and reinstall it ? some help would be greatly appreciated thank you This is update your recovery media any help would be greatly appreciated thanks
