@mikl1986 doesn't matter, in Datto RMM you can push updates / run silently or even force update after so many 'postponements.' We allow users to postpone for up to a month. (yes, this is a request) and yes after it's well into production level release (not fast/release-quick/etc.). We still get a few annoying people stating that they dismissed the notifications after a month (the last 2 pop in your face, warning you that if they don't save and update, they may lose data with an 'abrupt shutdown and update' due to postponement delays. Clearly stating in large red warning to UPDATE by simply rebooting their PC - mostly laptops is where this occurs which are the riskier anyway as they move around and connect to hotspots etc.).
Now, it's easy when it's employees - follow company policy or leave your computer on so it'll do it itself. For CEO's, some can be the most ignorant SOB's - we literally fired a client because the CEO was such a hinderance to his own company that it started affecting our company with constant ridiculous tickets and referrals that felt like fools' errands to make look like he was supporting a small business. He said he wanted us to stop updating because it disrupted his work. Like dude, so will ransomware for your very vulnerable machine, and we aren't going to be liable for your negligence. For a 5-10 min process. FFS.

How would you make sure the user gets the notification when accidental the users has "Do Not Disturb" turned on?

Forgot main point to my reply - @Netwa-KE did you get this running? What other Datto RMM based scripts are y'all utilizing?
Thanks!
