Dell Control Point on Windows 7
Hi, Just a quick question. I've just done a new install of Windows 7 on my Dell e6400 and am ready to install my apps.
Can I use the same Dell Control Point install files I downloaded for Windows Vista, or do I need to download a Windows 7 specific version?
Thanks,
Andrew.

Andrew,
Some of the older Dell ControlPoint dowloads did NOT support Windows 7. It would be best to get the latest versions to be sure they support Windows 7. Be sure to get the correct dowload for your system (32-bit, or 64-bit; they are generally different dowloads!).
(support.dell.com -> Downloads -> ...)
I also noticed that Dell recently released a utility called "Client System Update." It dowloads a lot of the drivers and utilities. You could try that to see if it gets what you need (it is under Systems Management). I don't know if it will get the ControlPoint dowloads though.

When I click one of those links....it just redirects me to the Drivers and Downloads page. Help?
