Dell Digital Delivery

have a Dell XPS 8700 on which I had to reinstall Windows 10. When I bought the computer I also purchased Adobe Photoshop, Elements, and Acrobat. After reinstalling Windows, I then reinstalled Dell Digital Delivery. Initially all three software titles were shown in DDD and I was able to install Photoshop and Elements, but Acrobat kept hanging. Now  when I open DDD, none of them are shown. I have tried:

  1. uninstalling and reinstalling DDD
  2. running DDD fixit tool
  3. installing an older version of DDD
  4. going to Adobe website and trying to install from there
  5. checking Dell digital vault  for the software

None of these have worked. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I feel your pain.

I work in an environment with a couple hundred laptops and desktops.  I loathe the times I have to wipe a computer and reinstall any DDD software because it RARELY works for reinstallation.

Was recently on a support call for two hours, during which the Dell technician tried all the steps I had already done.  I prefaced the call with "I need someone with knowledge of DDD.... because I don't want to waste my time with a tech that knows nothing about DDD"

What is DDD & I'm sure we can get through this.   Well, after 2 hours (and about 20 minutes of crickets), tech said, when is a good time to call back?

Absolute waste of time.

and this has been going on for YEARS!
