Dell Mobile Connect not pushing notifications after re-launch

Hi everyone!

So I can pair DMC to my inspiron 7501 (windows 10) and my phone (Huawei p20 pro on emui/android 10) and it works great until I reboot the phone or laptop.

After a reboot it pairs and appears to work correctly but notifications are no longer pushed to the laptop. To get it to work I have to unpair everything, clear the app cache on the phone and start again.
