DELL-Appu S,

This decision did not help.

But one of the members of our local forum in a thread dedicated to the model V131, independently found the solution!
Needed in the registry
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Uninstall \ Dell Support Center
Create Key
InstallLocation = C: \ Program Files \ Dell Support Center \
If desired topic not, first create a section "Dell Support Center"
Please pass this information to the developers.

Users will not be very happy to do the work for them.

You must have misunderstood me.
I did everything as you wrote.
The program itself works. It does not work with the hardware launch button, which is located on top of the keyboard.

Sometimes the Dell Quickset may not be uninstalled properly and creates problem. Let’s try the following steps.

  3. On View by: choose Large icons
  4. Click on ‘Programs and Features’
  5. On the new window, click ‘Dell Quickset’ highlight it.

  7. Follow through the prompts in order to remove the software.
  8. Restart the computer.

Then download ‘Dell Quickset’ from the link,

http://dell.to/SIz5GX

1.    Click on ‘Download File’
2.    Save the File
3.    Right click and choose ‘Run as Administrator’, follow the on-screen instructions to install the program
4.    Restart the computer

If the above step does not work then the system has to be restored to factory defaults.

Note: We would advise you to take a complete backup of your data (pictures, music, videos, and documents) as this step leads to complete data loss.

Please keep me posted.
