DMX and Cineplayer problems after using isum_hotfix.exe
Dell Media Experience and Dell Cineplayer were working when I got my new Inspiron 6000 a couple of days ago, however I kept getting the "Sonic Update Manager Requests a CD When No CD is Available" message.
I downloaded and ran the fix: http://tools.roxio.com/support/dell/isum_hotfix.exe
The error message went away but now neither Dell Media Experience or Dell Cineplayer launch properly. With both programs I see the splash screen, I see some hard drive activity but then the splash screens go away and nothing further happens - the programs don't launch and no error message appears.
In case it is helpful:
-Roxio Creator LE runs fine.
-CDs and DVDs mount and can be played with Windows Media Player.
Any ideas?

I'm having the exact same problem on my 6000.
I found a little help here
http://pcpitstop.ibforums.com/lofiversion/index.php/t110249.html
But it still launches Sonic Activation Module when I start the program itself not the computer.
If anyone can help us that would be cool.
The hotfix did nothing for me so I restored.
