Duplicate apps
It maybe whenever Dell had updated apps I maybe wound up with doubles which may use up my disk space. How can I identify and safely remove duplicate applications?

Hi aprilch:
If you are referring to Dell SupportAssist v4.x see Valinger's 12-Oct-2025 2 Dell SupportAssist apps. Dell employee DELL-ChrisM2's 21-Oct-2025 post <here> in that topic notes that it is normal to see two Dell SupportAssist components (i.e., the main application and a smaller companion UWP app) listed at Settings | Apps. If you go to Control Panel | Programs | Programs and Features you should only see the main application listed there.
NOTE: I believe the current Dell Update v5.x applications (e.g., Dell Update for Windows Universal v5.x, Dell Command | Update v5.x, etc.) also list two components at Settings | Apps. See my old 25-Mar-202 images posted <here> that I captured before uninstalling Dell Update for Windows Universal v4.8.0.
If that doesn't help please provide specific examples of the duplicate apps you see on your system. When you post back also let us know your Dell computer model, Windows operating system [open a Run dialog box (Windows key + R) and enter winver to find the version and OS build number], antivirus, and BIOS version. To find your current BIOS version open a Run dialog box, enter msinfo32 to display your System Information, and look for the field named "BIOS Version / Date" in the summary.
