Error "Your Exchange server is unavailable"

I am currently using Windows XP Home w/Microsoft Outlook. I cannot send pictures through my Sony Cybershot program or attach them through regular email anymore. This recently started after a Dell Axim PDA was connected to this home computer. Every attempt to send the email or even click on the Microsoft Outlook desktop icon will prompt an error message stating "your exchange server is unavailable".
