How to uninstall MS-Works COMPLETELY

Go into Control Panel double click Program & Features, find it on the list of programs select it, then click Uninstall, near the top of the screen.

I know that way of doing, however what I want to do is a bit more radical than tat :

I want to COMPLETELY remove Works 8 from my system. ALSO FROM THE REGISTRY ETC as if it was never installed !

DELL delivered my machine with all kinds of software pre-installed (full versions and trial versions) which I do not like at all (let me the one who decides which software should be installed on my puter please).

Right now, I am trying to clean up may machine as much as possible.

If that is impossible, I will to refuse the machine and send it back to Dell.

 

All help in cleaning up my puter COMPLETELY will be highly appreciated.

Why didn't you request not to have software installed on the machine at the time of purchase?

Actually uninstall works well. You can also get software that cleans the registry. If you want to be that radical about it, why don't you just reformat and reinstall Windows? Then you can do it the way you want it.

In France we cannot ask Dell NOT TO INSTALL certain programs.

The machine just comes with it.

That's why !!!

Apart from that, it looks like you ask me more questions in return than the simple one that I asked in the first place myself :-))

I reformatted my HD after getting rid of the 10gb restore D: drive and making just one harddrive.  I then just installed what programs I wanted (After loading VISTA, of course).

 

Drastic but worth it for me as all tha stuff Dell puts on the HD is ridiculous.
