Microsoft Office - Word 2010
I have a new Dell N5510 laptop and am having problems with MS Office 2010 Word. It keeps on showing an error and closing the program.
OS is 7 Home Premium w/ SP 1, 64-bit
The Office is new. I purchased the key on-line from MS and uploaded the program. Next I went to the Dell community site and uploaded the Office 2010.
The first time Word is opened it words until I enable editing of the document. Then Word recovers the document and asks if I want to save the template. Then it comes up with another error and closes the program.
Any ideas what is going on? Office problem or Dell?
NOTE: Power point is working properly. Have not used the other apps yet.

First suggestion would be to run the "repair" feature and see if that corrects the problem. If not, it will probably take a reinstall (uninstall Office, restart the PC and then do the reinstall, as just uninstalling and reinstalling you can wind up with the same problem).

Hi, have you ever used some 3rd party tools to process your word documents using DELL? I want to look for a fine word processing tool to manipulate word documents. Any suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
