Microsoft Outlook 2000 / MS Word 2000

Question

On my previous dell computer, using XP, I had MS Office 200 installed and quirte frequently used the envelope function of word to address envelopes. The program used my address book contained in Outlook. Now I have a new Dell using Vista and have loaded the Office 2000 program and impported my address book from the old computer. When I try to print an envelope and access the address book, I get the message about Microsoft Exchage not available or Ican't locate WAB.DLL. I guess what I am asking, what must I do to get an address book that will work wioth MS Word 2000. I have the Office 2003 Update but am hesitant to load it as this is what happened on my last computer so I went back to Office 2000. Will any programs interface with the Vista Mail Program? Will Outlook (any version) work in Vista vice Vista's mail program?

Microsoft states that Office 2000 and above is compatible with Vista.   Which address book are you referring?  How did you import this address book?    Have you configured your Outlook with any email account?  Since you are running Outlook 2000, which mail configuration have you setup?
