Microsoft Teams, screen sharing issue over WiFi

Issue description: If the laptop is connected to internet through its own wifi card, the screen sharing functionality in a MS Teams meeting won't work. This is not visible to the user, but the other participants in the call will see a slow/distorted/frozen version of the screen or just a black screen most of the times. This issue is reproducible every time regardless of what drivers/software etc are being used, and it does not happen if the laptop is connected to internet through an ethernet cable instead, using an adapter or a docking station.

I was wondering if anybody else noticed this issue? My laptop came configured with a Killer 1650s wifi card. The system also suffers from bluetooth mouse lag issues as reported in other posts here, which I assume shares the same card. I would be curious if laptops equipped with the Intel AX201 card have similar issues? Thanks

We tried reaching you on a private message asking for the Service Tag number to ascertain the warranty but did not receive a response. Please feel free to reply to the private message whenever you are available.

Thank you! We have received the required details.

This is a known Microsoft Teams issue. Reported on Dells, ThinkPad, Surface, etc. So not a Dell specific issue. You should start a thread on the Microsoft Teams Forum.

Try Sharing with Chrome via teams.microsoft.com see if same issue persists. If not, sign out of desktop and sign back in to clear cache see if that does anything, it's fixed so many problems in the past for me.
