misplaced activation key for MS Office 2013
I purchased an Inspiron laptop from you in April 2013. Recently, I was experiencing some challenges, and had a colleague who "knows computers" look at it (the laptop would not turn on at all). This colleague erased all of the programs that I had on the machine, and reinstalled what he could.
I currently have an icon for MS Office 2010, however after looking into what I had purchased (not the invoice, which would be helpful...), I noted that I am supposed to have 2013 version. Unfortunately, I cannot find the activation key for the product that was installed on my laptop prior to purchase.
Is there any way I can reactivate MS Office on my laptop without having to jump through too many hoops?

The activation key came on a card that was included if you ordered Office 2013. You should go through all your paperwork to find it. You can download Office from this office site if you have a key-- products.office.com/.../download-back-up-restore-microsoft-office-products
Try using My Dell Downloads for factory installed software--

MS Office 2010 could be the starter version that was installed for free similar to a trial version. It had only Word and Excel in limited starter versions to get you to buy the full program.

You have to have the MICROSOFT PRODUCT CARD with the key. Otherwise you have to buy office over again. This is not a Dell issue.

I may not have been clear with my challenge, or it may have been overlooked while reading the post. I have lost the activation key for MS Office 2013 activation. How, if at all, can I get the key to activate MS Office that came on my Inspiron when I bought it from Dell.
