MS Office 2013 vs Office 365
Someone help me figure out if I'm crazy. I recently bought an XPS-15 which overall I love. It was supposed to come with a trial of MS Office 2013. I wasn't able to access that so I asked Dell. They keep sending me to Office 365. MS Office 2013 and Office 365 are not the same, are they? When I purchased the laptop I made the assumption (I know...) that MS Office 2013 was not the same as Office 365. Anyone can get a month free trial of Office 365.

2013 is you buy it and pay 1 time.
365 is pay and pay and pay and pay and pay and pay forever.
Office 365 is offered as "Trial" freeware.

Hi REGAL233,
Office 365 is powered by the cloud. It has all the features as MS Office 2013 but can be used virtually anywhere and on multiple devices. Each Office 365 license you purchase can be installed on up to five devices including Desktops, Laptops, Macs, Tablets and Smartphones. It also gives you 60 Skype minutes and 1 TB of cloud storage per month. It is subscription based but it will give you the latest versions of the Microsoft Office suite so you are always up to date.
