My Dell Downloads
Dell has replaced my motherboard and hard drive twice in the past few months. Friday Dell Tech Support had me download and reinstall Windows 8.1. Now I am trying to download the software that was originally on my computer when I purchased it. When I go to My Dell Downloads, agree to the terms, and click on Register System there is some red wording that flashes on the screen (too fast to read it) and then nothing happens. I'm using Internet Explorer. I've checked my bios and the service tag is correct in it. Does anyone know what the problem could be now?

Unfortunately, we are going to need to know what the red wording message is so that we can help resolve this for you, Can you try to read it and post back here what it is saying?

I was finally able to read it. It says Examining your computer please wait.
