MY DELL won't update

I use MY DELL to update my Inspiron, cleaning etc. A few days ago when I wanted to use MY DELL I got a message that I should update it. I follow all the messages on the screen and at the end I get an error that tells me that It is not possible to update it and to check my internet connection. My connection is fine and the problem is that I cannot use the previous version of MY DELL because the update message always appears. I have removed the antivirus.

In my case, when it asked to update it, it asks admin permission and when I clicked "show details" it showed that it was trying to install something called "My Dell Fusion Service". After finding this is needed for My Dell, I manually updated it from the Dell website and now My Dell works (stops trying to endlessly update).

I have the exact same problem with the update but I didn't have a previous version.

Any help, please?

I uninstalled the current version then installed it again from the Microsoft Store.

Still the same problem,

The techies have been private messaging me - they're excellent - but still to no avail. Guess I'll do without it.

rblake99,

You may be able to create a new user account and install My Dell app. If the issue remains, I would suggest backing up the data and performing a clean install of the operating system.
