Need to reinstall Dell Document Viewer
I posted the following in the incorrect forum so am reposting here. Sorry, this is my 1st posting.
Any way to get the Dell Document Viewer back on my laptop? I have new Dell Inspiron 15R and deleted the Dell Document Viewer after deciding it didn't work and was useless. Now that I've downloaded the manuals and read the posts here from this past January I would like to get it back. No, it's not in my recycle bin as I was attempting to get rid of bloat before making a system image. Dell tech supt says only way is to restore the pc to it'sdefault factory settings. I would prefer not to do that.

I didn't see that in the Dell downloads. It looks like what Dell told you about using the Dell PC Restore (Recovery Partition) is the only way. F8 at power on.
If you have all of your user data backed up it's not too big of a hassle.

Thanks - That's what I finally did as I had no data yet and had only been playing with Windows 7. However, after doing that I got a message from Dell DataSafe telling me it couldn't access the recovery partition or that is was corrupted - so then I wouldn't be able to create a recovery image. Tech Support (the good support you get for the 1st 60 days) finally had to uninstall and reinstall the DataSafe software.
