Outlook 2003 glitch or virus?
My husband's e-mail (Outlook 2003) is acting squirrelly. He might receive a mail from someone, open it only and NOT reply, but then the sender sends him an e-mail saying they received a reply from him that was blank. It is random. Nothing is registered in SEND. We have run virus scans. Is this an Outlook problem, or one with our internet provider (Comcast)?

I have Office 2003 with Outlook 2003. I haven't had this problem with mine. If you watch Outlook 2003 closely you can see when it sends or just accesses the ISP's e-mail server. I would say to pay particular attention to the status line when the e-mail program is active to see if it's sending when it shoudn't be.
There is also a "detect and repair" function and you may want to run that. Detect and Repair is accessed from the Help dropdown menu. You will need the install CD for Outlook 2003 (Office 2003).
