Outlook.PST

Question

Hi,   I would like to copy my old outlook.pst to my new computer (inspiron 600).  Can anyone tell me how should I do this.   Thanks,   Steve

Is the old Outlook the same version as the new Outlook?

I have a new laptop, Dell Inspiron 6000; I have successfully transfered all my Outlook pst files from my old computer to my new; now I want to backup my pst files on my new laptop.   With my old system, in Outlook, under 'file', one of the options was 'Backup'; for some reason, that option is not listed on my new system.   How do I backup my Outlook pst files on my new computer (Windows XP; Office 2000)?   Thanks!
