Do you have an idea why Microsoft Outlook may stay open after you choose to close the application?

 

From my home computer, when I choose to close Outlook, I have this message (Please wait while Microsoft outlook exits) for 2 or 3 seconds and after it's over.

 

On our computer at work (300 computers) it happen often that the popup with the message (Please wait while Microsoft outlook exits) stay active and the only way to close it is to go in the task manager to stop the process.  Any idea?     Maybe it's the response delay with our Exchange server?

 

I tried to wait to see what happen.  I left my computer with the popup active a night after work and the popup was still there the morning after...
