Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Uninstall powerpoint and then reinstall it back into the system to see if that will resolve the issue that you are having with the crashing.

try going to start -> run -> POWERPNT.EXE -a
Hit enter and try. If this works then its a configuration problem
