Prove that I own MicroSoft Excel

I received my laptop with MicroSoft Suite loaded. But when I tried to use Excel it wants proof that I own it. I setup an account with MicroSoft when I setup the laptop. Now when I logon (with my email address and password) I fail to receive an email with the code to unlock Excel.

I had hoped that all would be read to use upon delivery and this purchase check is a problem. I would like to avoid contacting MicroSoft as I had assumed HAVING THE LAPTOP is proof that I paid for Excel.

Any help will be appreciated.
