Upgrading Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003

Thanks, Denny, for the prompt post. Is there a feasible, e.g., cheap way to upgrade from Outlook 2002 to Outlook 2003?

Buy a student/teacher version of Office. However, upgrading from 2002 to 2003 isn't really worth it. Both Outlooks can be used together successfully.

I purchased an Inspiron 5150 with MS Office 2003 (OS is MS XP Pro). I loaded the Business Contact Manager add-on application. Boy do I wish I hadn't.

All of my emails are now shown in the Business Contact Manager (BCM) history section of each contact. When you click on the "Add" button in the history section, nothing happens. I contacted Dell Tech support (since MS won't talk with you if you purchased it installed). Dell's recommendation was to reinstall BCM on my computer. The real problem was discovered when we learned there was no import/ export function in my Outlook 2003. Dell refunded my tech fee and told me there was nothing they could do and that MS will not support Dell with matters such as these.

Bottom line is I can't fix the problem without possibiliy lossing all my data, and I can't export my data in order to safely reload the application. I have purchased Office 2003 manuals but they don't provide any help. I'm so sick of MS.

I would appreciate any help that anyone can provide.

I've read that Outlook 2003 has many improvements over 2002, and is really the ONLY reason to upgrade.  Then again, I haven't done it.
