usb port?

Hi! I have an Optiplex GX 200. I have bought an MP3 player and apparently need an usb port. Therefor I would like to know if it is possible to install such a thing on this computer. B

Your system has two USB ports in back but they are USB 1.1 and are probably not supported by the player or it will be very slow in getting music on it.
You should have a free PCI slot and you can buy a PCI USB 2 card for it at a cost of about $20 to $30.
If you are running 98se you will probably need to install a driver, 2000 Pro should see it and XP will also see it and install the drivers automatically.

You can buy the PCI USB 2.0 card anywhere. You don't need to buy it from Dell if you don't want to.
