Windows defender error application failed to initialize 0x800106ba. Version 1.1.1600.0
error message pops upon sign into system. Did not see uninstall option in the software install/unistall program for Windows Defender

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Remove the program by going to Control Panel / Add-remove programs / remove Windows Defender.
Once you have it uninstalled you can download the latest version by searching Microsoft.com
