WordPerfect serial number is in the wrong format
I want to reinstall WordPerfect 12, which originally came preinstalled on my computer, using the CD I received with my computer a couple of years ago.
When I start the install, I am prompted for a serial number of 17 digits (7-7-3 format).
That does not fit with what is on the sticker of the jacket the CD came in (US-0CD940-xxxxx-xxx-xxxx, where x is a number or letter).
So how can I reinstall Wordperfect?

Sorry for the late reply, I have just seen your post.
The serial number is not the number on the back of the envelope you are quoting above. There is a separate printed card inside the envelope (at least that is how it is with my two WP 12 disk envelopes) with the disk that has the unique 17 digit number you are looking for. It starts with WA12. . . . . . . . . . . I hope you can locate this card.
