XP Mode: cannot set up on 7710 with win7

XP Mode is a virtual OS provided my Microsoft for win7. The virtual space is supported and set in the BIOS for our 7710 (Win 7 64 bit)  but we have been unable to complete the setup. We get blue screen on last step (twice)

Is it feasible to get this to work on this system: Our accounting software requires this to run.
