xp outlook to vista windows mail

Email

 

1. Open Windows Mail

 

2. File > Import > Messages > Microsoft Outlook

 

3. Select Inbox, Sent Items, etc.

 

do not select Contacts - it's imported as messages instead

 

 

 

Contacts

 

1. Export your Contacts as a CSV file (Comma Separated Values)

 

2. Open Windows Mail

 

3. File > Import > Windows Contacts

 

4. select CSV and point to the file, click Next to continue with import

Thanks for the reply, my problem is getting the email folders and contacts out of win xp, i looked for an export and anything else that might lead me to saving the stuff on a disk to put back into windows mail but i cant find it.
