2300 USB controls

I am having trouble finding what exactly I can control with the USB link from my computer to projector.  Do I need special software for this and can I control two projectors from the same computer?

    The USB port is only for the remote control. When you attach the USB cable to your PC it installs a HID-compliant USB mouse driver. There is no software necessary, the driver is native to Windows98SE and later operating systems. If you had 2 projectors attached to one PC via USB, you would also have to have 2 video outputs on the PC to get a signal to each projector.

    Thank you for the reply.  What I was asking is...just exactly what functions do I get with the USB connection.  Since a mouse driver is used, does operating the mouse advance the PowerPoint® slides?  Can I address each projector individually?
     
    The projectors are basically operated in parallel so the I am using a video distribution amplifier.

    You get all the remote mouse functions on the remote control. I think there are 2 different remotes avail for this projector. If you get the basic remote then it only provides forward/back to advance slides in powerpoint. If you get the more advanced remote then you can use the arrows on the remote to control the mouse cursor.

    As far as addressing each projector individually from one PC, I don't think that will work. I've never tried it but i suspect the HID-Compliant mouse driver wouldn't know which projector is which, so you'd probably get the same response on both projectors. I don't know this for sure, just my best guess.
