4100MP Extending Connections
The organization I work for purchased a model 4100MP projector. We've mounted it on the ceiling of our conference room and want to run the connection to a computer through the celing and down a wall where we will terminate it so any computer can connect. The length of the run will be approximately 20 feet. I've contacted Dell and was told to buy 150 feet of RCA cable! I then e-mailed them and received this:

Michael, I apologize for the trouble you are going through however we really do not have the access to provide you with the correct and update information you will have to contact Dell spares to buy the required cable. I've really been frustrated with Dell's support. Can anyone tell me the best way to extend the projector to computer connection?

I purchasesd a 100' VGA from Cables to Go out of Dayton Ohio and it works great. No signal loss or picture loss.www.cablestogo.com

I put 25 foot extension cables on mine (www.pacificcables.com).
Works fine.
