Has anyone connected a DVI output to a 2200, other than a computer video card that uses a DVI to VGA converter? I am looking at a DVD player that has a DVI output and I would like to use it with the MP 2200.
Unfortunately, I would say that forget using DVI output with any DELL old or new projector. DELL has not a DHCP licence and hance it has a major drawback of not compatible with most or all of the devices which are DHCP compliant. DVI is digital and has an enforcement to play copywright material and any device hich is not DHCP, will simply not play. Only possibility is just to use a Bravo DVD player who is fort now is not DHCP, but who know in future it will also be forcec to be compliant.
I was going to buy DELL, but droped it because of this reaso. Check out following links, very informative:
