The instructions say - Press to switch the video image between the display only, the external device only, or the display and the external device simultaneously.

I have a huge presentation tomorrow and the third option mentiond above is not working
I can get the image on the display only or the device only
I CAN NOT GET IT ON BOTH
Please help
