Certification query for Symmetrix Solutions
Hi
I need guidelines regarding the certification exam I am planning to appear for “E20-517 Symmetrix Solutions Specialist Exam for Storage Administrators” in my county “Pakistan”. I have just one confusion, Can I directly go for this specialist level certification E20-517 as mentioned above or is there any restriction that I should to first go for associate lever certification “E20-001 ISM Exam” and then proceed further . In Addition I have already appeared for following training “Symmetrix Business Continuity Management ” based in Singapore.
This is the exam I want to appear in. I am expert in my filed and want to directly appear in “E20-517 ”. Can you share its pros and cons.

Hello Mahzar -
There are no restrictions in our program that would require you to take the E20-001 ISM Exam before sitting for the E20-517.
However, Specialist level certification can only be achieved by sitting for and passing an Associate level exam (E20-001 ISM or E20-040 ETF) as well as completing the Specialist level requirements.
