495W EPP supply input voltage question

What is the valid input voltage range for the EPP 495W supply (DP/N 09338D)? 240V did not work for me.  Apparently I can't share any more details or my post is marked as abuse.

Yes I read the label too, but in my case the supply did not operate for more than a second and reconfigured itself into multiple pieces, as in I have a broken supply now.

Sanitizing my original message with words that maybe passes the 'PC' bar for a corporate forum...

I was installing a "new to me" R730 which has two EPP 495W supplies (DP/N 09338D).  I use a 240W UPS and PDU which is only about 25% loaded.

I plugged in the first supply, server began to power up, and about 2 seconds later there was a [electrical separation of components] and the breaker on that segment of my PDU also tripped, [removing power to] everything else on that segment.  I immediately pulled the supply and heard rattling and found part of a diode that must have caused the [component separation].

I plugged the second supply into 120V instead and had no issues booting the server.

The label on these supplies lists 100-240V input, so I don't believe I exceeded the rated input voltage.  I have other servers also running on 240V with no [bad events] (R620, R630, Precision Rack 7910) and no errors, but these are the only 495W EPP supplies in any of them.Is it OK to use 240V input on this model supply?  Does Dell want to look at this thing?

@Plocmstart, Dell AC power supply will have a support of 100 to 240 V input. You can check the specification on the  power supply unit itself.

Can you check the LED status on PSU when you connect power on it. You can check below link for details on LED status
