Dell R740XD 24 bay with 2 raid
Hello,
My question is about Dell R740XD and 2 Raid Controllers.
Can fit in Dell R740XD 24 bays 2.5 inch.
Split to 2 raid controllers
So
Raid controller 1. H330 12 bays
and
Raid controller 2. H730 12 bays

R740xd do support dual PERC controller. You can configure 12 drives for each controller. You can refer Figure 3 in below link for cable connectivity for the same. R740xd supports Dual HBA330 (Mini and Adapter) or Dual H740P (Mini or Adapter) for dual controller configuration. As H33/H730 is not validated for dual controller config I can not guarantee whether it will work.
