How to setup raid 10 poweredge r710

My problem: I want to setup raid 10, and when I select the disks I want, I CAN select the ssd's (400gb dell/Intel enterprise SSD's), but I CAN'T select the 2 consumer hdd's.

my setup:

server: poweredge r710

ram: 144gb Hynix 800mhz ecc

cpu's: 2x Xeon x5650

raid card: PERC h700

storage devices: 1: 1tb hdd samsung

2: 1.5tb hdd Samsung

3: 6x Intel dell certified enterprise ssd's

Now, when I want to select the 2 hdd's, nothing happens!

Hello

You can't mix drive types within a virtual disk. If you are using SATA SSDs then all of the disks in the virtual disk need to be SATA SSDs. If you are using SAS SSDs then they all need to be SAS SSDs. If you are using SAS spindle drives then they all need to be SAS spindle drives. The H700 supports drive mixing at a controller level but not at a virtual disk level. Some controllers require the same drive type across the entire controller.

You can find more information about the controller in the manual.

Thanks
